2008 model, how low can we get it for? My family and I want to get a Lexusis250 and treat ourselves. I previously had a is250 that I had purchased for $30,700 with the MSRP value at $35,222 saving $4,522 on the purchase, about 700 dollars below invoice and got a smokin deal.

But now they're saying since the is250 08 just came out now they can't lower it that much. I want to get the same discount of $4,522 that I got before off of a 2008 $35,582 car. How low do you think they can get it down all you car experts out there?

32,500 is probably as good as it gets.

All I can tell you is negotiate as much as you can. If they really want to sell a car then they will work with you. Don't give in until you know that's as far as you can go. There is no telling what the dealership is willing to sell it for. Some dealerships want to sell cars bad and some think they don't have to discount the car to sell it. The other thing that you can do is go to another dealership and see how much they would sell it to you for. Compare the numbers and use one against the others.
