I'm curious to this as well. I claybar and wax mine once a year. Around October since I put it in storage for the winter. Is this to much or not enough? Thanks!

I'm not sure that I have ever clayed any of my cars. This entire detailing thing is new to me. Is it hard to do and how much does it cost?

Once every year or two and you should be good to go. I don't think that there's a need to do it more than once a year.

If you car is new, I wouldn't worry about it for a few more years. I claybar my car once every 2-3 years at the most and then apply a fresh coat of wax.

Once or twice a year if your car is 5+ years old, but if it is new like stated above, you can wait a few years.

I would suggest once a year. I usually do mine around spring time so that it'll last through the summer and following winter.

Been their done that... it is almost impossible to claybar the top of the SUV.

That's how often I claybar mine. One time in the spring and I'm good for the entire year :)

I think it depends upon the condition of your car if your car is a new one then why to clay bar it.You don't have to do this.If you have an old model then I think it would be right for you to claybar your car two time in a year

Amazingly or Shockingly I don't do this because I don't like this. There might be many reasons the biggest is "I am a lazy person and busy as well". However once in an year is enough.

I don't do that but i think now it is necessary once a year. Once a year is enough.

The longer you wait to clay the car, the more buildup there will be when you decide to clay it. It's easy to do as their are kits now in every autoparts store. Just keep the surface lubricated and you can't go wrong. Don't drop the clay bar on the ground either or you will have to throw it out. Break it into smaller pieces and work with it until you can't remold it cleanly.
