when IS 350 is equipped with some options, the price goes over 40,000. however 2007 acura TL type-S has alot more standard features like brembo brakes, rear view camera, navigation system, rear spoiler, etc, no option to add on cuz its loaded, and the price is 38,000 MSRP. i have to admit that IS is more luxurious than TL but is it really worth spending over 40,000 on IS 350 or is TL type-S a better choice?

LEXUS is more better than ACURA in the luzury department, reliablity, and performance.

In my opion lexus is the winner not saying acura is bad but I prefer lexus for the longterm quality and engine wise. Lexus engine is base on a Cast Iron Block with alumium surroundings as for acura it is fully alumium meaning it is a must service for example oil changes and especially autotransmission must be service dues to internal light alumium parts. notice when acura engine ldles it sound alot lighter that the lexus .. for example honda engines sounds like cola can empty tap tap, but the lexus motor sounds like a Monster drink can. both alumium but with differents quality and sounds. good luck you decided which one you prefer.

The Acura TL would be better because it is more spacious and many people drive it.

The better deal is the TL but the lexus is lighter and probably handles better. The materials in the lexus also look more expensive than the acura. The main difference that everyone is forgetting is that the TL is front wheel drive while the IS is rear wheel drive. Most sports car drivers would prefer rear wheel drives to nything else. The Acura is a lot bigger too (can be good or bad).
