I have a Lexus Rx300 which is equipped with a Power and Snow mode..... What do they do?!!?!?!?! Can I activate them while driving? What speeds can they be used at?

Is for you to find out what a Gimmick you felt on your over priced Toyota. A VW Bug can go on circles on that thing for half the price. I had Chevy Astro AWD that handled better than that. Sorry bud, no much of a difference here.

Edit...

This seems like the 2nd Gear Start on my 94 Pontiac Grand Prix or ESP on the VW products. Call that advancement...!

you might not even feel difference, but if you press power it will go up the hill easier, with out pushing gas pedal very hard,if snow it will start you car from 2nd gear in order to not slid of the snow hill.

Snow mode starts the tansmission in 2nd gear and shifts the gears at a lower RPM than normal so you do not spin the tires. Power mode waits to shift the gears until higher rpm than normal, providing more power during acceleration. Both can be activated / deactivated while driving at any speed, as it simply controls transmission shifting during acceleration / deceleration.

snow mode changes your transmissions shift points slightly..yes you can turn it on or off while driving...it makes it shift a little softer so you wont spin tires....you can notice the difference ..power mode does the same..it holds the shift point longer for more power.... .your owners manual will give you some info..it controls only the transmission.
