I could be wrong, but I believe that it is 20MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. Not to bad, but not to good either.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Lexus Driver. I wish it was a little better, that's about the norm for cars now a days.

As all Lexus IS have V6 Engine so I think mileage is almost the same like other V6 standard engines. There are lot more things to consider like torque, horse power and city/highway. I have got this specification on official site. Check it.

Yes you are absolutely wrong.The fuel economy is estimated 18mpg in the city and 25 on high way.

I am not sure about the mileage of Lexus IS but where as i know that the gas mileage of Lexus IS in the city is 20mpg and 28mpg pn high way.Reason is very simple .Every body know that.

I get around 23.5 combo highway and city.

Where as I know the gas mile age of Lexus IS is 19mpg in the city and 21 on high ways.I think that it is very economical mpg .
