I want to hear from those that know about cars and especially, this car. I am considering buying a 2000 Lexus RX300 with 89k miles in it. Dealer will drop the price from $18k to $14k after I chiseled them down aggressively. The car looks impeccable inside and out...But most importantly, is it a good car and how about the mileage? Is it too high? thanks!

Seems like a fair price, though you didn't mention the options on the car. Here are some sites that will give you used car value estimates:

Lexus (i.e. Toyota) has an excellent reputation for reliability. Assuming it's been well maintained it should last you a good long while.

Oh yes of course!! Lexus is a VERY good car still even if it has a lot of miles on it. Yes I would buy it but first test drive it because most Lexuses have something wrong with the engine but I forgot what... Anyway, Yes buy the car.
