I have a 2001 RX 300. bought it with 48000 miles. My wife and I love it. We have 87000 miles on it with no problems. Toyota recently admitted to an engine problem with the 1999-2001 RX 300. Somehow my engine will create a sludge that clogs the oil ports. Toyota extended the warranty to 8years because of this problem. I've also heard on the Lexus forums that the transmission craps out around 100,000 miles. So I'm taking extra care of my engine and transmission. So far so good!!! If I had the option I'd get an 2002 and make sure you research the RX to be sure It didn't come from a snowy part of the country. Mine came from IL and it has a lot of corrosion underneath.

I at in it before and it's tall, comfortablr, and quiet. If you want a luxurious and relaxing suv, the RX is perfect for you.

Way too much money what what you get. They feel tinny to drive, and there are way way better choices out there for the money.

it has many cons first of all most rx's have transmission problems by the first 30,000 miles. Then you will always have brake problems. Their shocks are definetly useless you fell a rock on the road as if there is a rock up you butt.
The only pro is the name lexus

You may already know, but the Lexus is a Toyota so you can expect it to be a great reliable car. Check www.edmunds.com for reviews on your particular car. I dont own one, but have been in one and think its a great car.

Dang! Fancy new golf clubs, fancy new cars! You're hecka lucky!
When I'm 16 and able to drive, I'm getting my parents old Honda Civic DX, the 1991 model. It smells like crap and is stick shift.
