if your a guy, dont buy either, cuz that would make you a girl, those are girl suv's, why dont you just buy a nissan xtera and paint it bright pink with the barbie package? just kidding, but you should get something with capabilities and style, like a jeep wrangler 4 door, itll go anywhere and last a hell of a lot longer.

I think I would choose BMW it just sounds better to me .

BMW is way superior to lexus

the bmw has better interior and the millage is around the same

I own a BMW 330i and the wife drives the RX330, and it depends on what you want. I've driven the X3. The X3 is going to perform better in terms of street handling. The Lexus is going to be more of a luxury plush ride. The BMW will need a little more maintenance to keep it going longer if you plan to keep it over 60k miles. Since it is built on the same platform as the 330i, I know.
