I am currently buying another used car and I have nailed down the list to these two cars- the 2000 BMW 3 series and the 2001 Lexus IS300, both the same mileage and affordable price range. I want both professional and unprofessional opinions of which one you think I should get or you prefer, and why. I already have my reasons but I want to hear yours. BMW 3 Series or LEXUS IS? Thanks. Give as much detail to your answers as possible.

I would definitely get the Lexus IS300 because it will last 2X longer!

hmmm aactually its a hard choice. both cars are very good. reliable. lexus is 300 is very good because its LEXUS. BMW 3 Series is also very good too. but it also depends on how the previous owners drove the cars. for example if they were beaten up then i would say just look for something else. run a carfax report. it never really helps because sometimes people goto small mechanics and get things done. but still if major things had happen then you would know. BMW is fast, good handling, reliable and nice looking too. Lexus IS 300 is fast also handling is good too but is more reliable than BMW. I would with Lexus.


Only No would be if you want Manual transmission cuz IS 300 doesnt come with manual transmission.
