go to autotrader.com and do a search for cars around that price and see what comes up. now if you would like to be the wisest 16 yr old around, take the car to a mechanic and spend the 75 bucks to have the mechanic check it out. that way you wont blow all those hard earned bucks from cutting lawns and walking dogs on a car that is about to keel over.
