i just bought a 1993 lexus ls400 and the dash lights dont work and the fuel gauge doesnt either the man i bought it from said that they work after it warms up but i drove it 2 hours home and they didnt come on. please someone help me to figure this out. thamks

Take it back to the man from whom you bought it and let him fix it up.
Otherwise, just check the fuses. I am sure it is nothing more than this. These are very fine cars, durable and comfortable.

It sound like an instrument cluster fuse or the wiring going to it. Check all the fuse panels under the hood also. Electrical issues are very hard to diagnose without the vehicle in front of a person.

I'd say it's time for the old instrument cluster to go and in for a new/reconditioned one. Japanese cars are like that..
