I own a 2000 Lexus RX300. Sometimes it will not start. I turn the key, and it is dead - no clicking, no power, nothing. If I let it set for a few minutes, it will turn right over. Is it the starter, the battery or a short between the ignition swithc and the starter? I know that if next time it happens, and I get under the car and tap on the starter...and it starts, then it's probably the starter. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix?
