i think u shouldn't . first is people should go for newer car. second people shouldn't buy used car over 100,000 miles. cuz if u bought it, u know u will fix it and the cost of that car according to ur price it will be 11,000 or more. so that amount of money u should consider, not 7500.

They have a bad interior lighting problem
and a starter problem.
Otherwise a very nice ride
Check for recalls

No. Get a 2007 Toyota Camry instead.

Yes!
If the car was properly maintained by the dealer [ask to see the service records]. The ls 400 is built like a battleship and Will take a lot of hard use and still run like new.
I'm on my second Ls400 now, a1998 with 98000 miles and plan to drive another 50000 miles. It runs like new[I can't hear the engine idle and have to check the tach to be sure it's running]

well if you live were snow is not a big issue than it will probably be a great car lexus and toyotas are very reliable you should get 200K miles out of that car without a problem just keep up on the maintenence. if you live where there is snow then you may want to look at something else that is a very big rear drive car that will do ok in a little snow here and there but not the best winter car

Make sure that the car never has been in an accident, also take it to a mechanic for a second opinion, third try to get the vehicle maintenance history.
