That's right, after a decade of that boring look of the Land cruiser and LX470's, here's the next generation that debuted at the New york Auto show. If you haven't seen it, here:

Yeah, it may look okay. I was expecting a better redesign, but I still think it is the best full sized SUV out there. Reliable, strong, capable, comfortable, safe and more technologically advance than a lot of American and European cars.
It's also an environmentally friendly vehicle. It's classified as a ULEV II (Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle II). It also has power second and third row seats, power rear door, adaptive headlights 20" stock rims, 4 zone automatic climate control, smart access entry system, 10 airbags, 2 blindspot cameras, and sonar parking assist!

I don't have enough experience with a variety of SUV's to be able to tell the difference right now, but IT'S A CAR.

I used to be so into cars (mostly antique/classy), but since I've been broke & driving for 15 yrs I'm mainly concerned about gas mileage, insurance rates, and payment. A good-looking vehicle doesn't pay the bills.

That being said, I wouldn't have displayed that car in a dark grey - it just makes it look more plain & dreary!

Still no match for the Navigator. I can't believe they went through the trouble of redesigning it, and still have a crappy 3rd row seat.

I almost peed my pants when I saw the new LX (just kidding). I love it. I want one because there's finally a full-sized SUV that has SmartKey and reliability to go with it. Plus, Lexus is my favorite brand.
