whats the difference between a lexus with awd and fwd? I read on the lexus forum that the awd has transmission problems alot.

SPATTMAN 10-19-2007, 01:28 PM AWD = All wheel drive FWD = Front wheel drive AWD is great for snow or rough roads. It is also used by sports car enthusiasts. Obviously AWD has more moving parts that can break down. Red Dragon 10-19-2007, 01:29 PM AWD can be better in car handling, but it all depends on how you are going to use the car. If you will be using it in rough off-road locations then it is recommended. Although, I prefer FWD. The reason for that is that it consumes a lot less fuel, and also I do not use my car off-road that much. |
