The full-size Lexus LX is probably the smallest "full-size" SUV available on the market. Do you think it should stay that way? Or should it get bigger like the rest?

Any bigger, the size would be equaled to a monster truck. Cars now these days, are farley too large. What happened to simple convertables and simple cars... What happened to simple convertables and simple cars... I agree. I think it should stay small and compact. The larger it is the more gas it'll use. LexusPerformance 09-30-2007, 12:48 AM It shoudl definitely stay as small and compact as possible. One thing we don't need out their on the road is another huge SUV. We already have so many of them! Lexus Forums 10-01-2007, 12:11 PM If I'm not mistaken, GM has a new Hybrid SUV (BIG!) that gets mid 20s (miles per gallon). lexus 10-01-2007, 06:34 PM If I'm not mistaken, GM has a new Hybrid SUV (BIG!) that gets mid 20s (miles per gallon). That's pretty good for a larger SUV, but I've always been a fan of the smaller compact SUV's instead. KellysLexus 10-03-2007, 05:26 PM I think it should stay small and compact just like it already is. The last thing we need is another large SUV on the roads. Lexus Forums 10-03-2007, 05:52 PM Many Americans are used to large cars - for many reasons. Big families, comfortable accommodations, etcetera.. Being that cars aren't so big anymore, sometimes these large SUVs are much needed... playdrv4me 10-04-2007, 02:39 PM Too late... the LX just grew another four inches and got the Tundra's running gear and it's even bigger 5.7L motor (though the wheelbase is the same) and sadly, I believe it has lost alot of the off-roadyness that made the original Land Cruiser such a legend. Lexus Forums 10-04-2007, 03:25 PM They can keep the off-roadyness for the Toyota Land Cruiser. How many Lexus owners go off-roading with their $90k luxury SUV? Darnel 10-04-2007, 07:17 PM They can keep the off-roadyness for the Toyota Land Cruiser. How many Lexus owners go off-roading with their $90k luxury SUV? Good point! This is why I think they should stay as a smaller SUV. arif 10-05-2007, 07:17 AM I agreed with all of you.The size of SUV is already approaching to maximum for cars.I think the size should stay the same. This is a very compact car size. Lexus Forums 10-05-2007, 09:53 AM This is a very compact car size. Compact? ;) http://photo.netcarshow.com/Lexus-LX_570_2008_photo_10.jpg Allan 10-05-2007, 04:38 PM It needs to stay small. All of the obviouse reasons are posted above in other posts. ESFanatic 10-06-2007, 02:33 PM Keep it small for goodness sake! Like someone said above, people aren't going to take their expensive lexus vehicles off road so why make them larger? CarFanatic 10-07-2007, 10:30 AM Keep it small and compact. I can't stand driving larger vehicles or even seeing them on the road. LexusSUV 10-08-2007, 04:55 PM I think the LX is large enough, if not already to large. Why change something that isn't broke? |
