Having some problem with lights that come on in my Lexus LX470 and they do this every now and then. Starting last year the ABS orange light, the Trac/off, andTrac/? orange lights came on and stayed on for two days. Then it went away. Periodically they all come on together and when I turn off my engine and restart they go away. Now this year they came on for 3 days solid. When I take it into the Dealer, they say there is nothing they can do for the computer states all is OK and no problems? They told med I had to bring in the car while the lights are still lit up. Well, the car has a mind of its own. Now on three occasions without the three orange lite coming on when I have come to a complete stop at stop sign or traffic light, and then proceed to drive forward I fell and hear a awful rumbling under my feet from beneath the car on the drivers side. I think this is the anti-lock break system. I know there is a big problem here and cannot understand why the dealer cannot take care of this with my explain to them the situation. Regardless of what the computer states! This is not normal, and should not be happening. I am planning on an out of state trip in October and really am reluctant and scare to drive the car in this condition especially in mountainous terrain. What can be done? I feel the Service Dealer (Lexus) should be able to go and check the whole anti-lock (ABS) and Trac/off Et???

Yeah the wheel speed sensors (part of the ABS system) are done. Did you get the tires replaced recently by any chance?

To tell you the truth this is an expensive problem. Parts alone maybe 200 per sensor. But yeah it will disable traction control if even one is faulty. Technology! :(
