View Full Version : Spin Off | How many hours per month do you spend detailing your car? GXOwner 10-07-2007, 10:52 AM I'm very curious to here everyones answer on this. On my 2 cars I spend about 10-15 hours per month washing, waxing, polishing, etc. :D 2007_Lexus 10-07-2007, 03:17 PM Between 5-6 hours monthly and that includes washing, waxing, inside, engine work, etc. Jeremy_Smith 10-08-2007, 04:15 PM Just a couple of hours. I don't have time to wash mine at home, so I take it though the car was on the way home from work. LexusSUV 10-08-2007, 04:49 PM Around 5 I would say at the most. Doesn't include waxing since I only do that once a year. Just the other basic stuff. Computer_Geek 10-08-2007, 05:09 PM I love detailing my car... I to it more as a hobby to make sure every spec of the car is clean. I spend almost every weekend cleaning all of my vehicles. MikeIS 10-08-2007, 06:09 PM It varies from month to month depending on how much I drive my car and the weather. Bobby 10-09-2007, 03:12 AM Somewhere between 5-10 per month. That includes all 3 of my cars though. Jesda 10-09-2007, 03:30 AM Zero. Would rather pay someone. Its not much fun in the heat. Lexus Forums 10-09-2007, 10:01 AM Zero. Would rather pay someone. Its not much fun in the heat. I'm with ya there.. That and the fact that I don't have the time! Nikki 10-09-2007, 03:28 PM I don't spend anytime on it, but I have people that do it for me from time to time. GS1 10-11-2007, 06:41 PM About 4 hours a week washing, cleaning, etc. So I spend around 15-16 hours monthly on my car to keep it looking it's best. LexusGS 10-11-2007, 06:52 PM Not to much. Probably close to 2-3 hours. For our work cars we wash them once every other month since they aren't that nice. |
