The lexus has 187,000 miles and the honda 155,000. Across the board the 94 and 95 lexuses and the 00 and 01 Hondas in my price range are similar mileage etc. My step dad and his lexus mechanic say the lexus hands down is the superiour car, holds it value better and will last way beyond when I'd be trading it in (maybe 3 - 5 years).

I'd love an educated unbiased opinion. My step dad prefers luxury cars. I just want the best bang for my buck. Reliable, good looking car that will be worth something when I want to trade it. What are your thoughts?
