I would like to buy this Lexus GX 470 at carmax. It is a 2004 with 70k miles on it. Should I buy it? Is that too many miles? Is it just around the corner from needed major repair. Or is it ok because it's Lexus

That's only about 10,000 miles a year, which is pretty easy usage for a vehicle. Of course it depends how those miles were put on, city driving is rougher on an engine than highway driving, but with only 10k, and being a Lexus, you should be fine.
