At least I think it is tar. On my rear bumper, I have little specs of very light brown/black spots. They come off if you pick at every little one. However, is their a product to take them off?

Thanks!

A claybar will get all the tar off your car in a matter of minutes. Then re apply the wax and you will be all set.

Like LEX said above, use a claybar with Meguiars quick detailing spray. I actually think they have all of the in one package for about $20 at wallmart. You get 2 claybars, full bottle of spray, and a microfiber towl.

I bought that system a few times and it works great. I would recommend you using it at least once a year to your entire car.

Just remember that it is going to take a lot of elbow grease. To do an entire car your looking at about 4-5 hours + wax time.

I hate claybaring my cars... it takes to much time. But it is something that needs to be done.

Try bug and tar remover.. You can find it at any auto store.. Probably much easier than using the clay bar...

You could do this as well.... much easier. Clay bar is mainly to get tiny dust and dirt particles out of your paint so you can apply a fresh coat of wax. They both will work though.

I've never clay-bar'd any of my vehicles. Sounds like something good to do every so often..
