Bought a 2004 Lexus RX330 Oct. 09. Accidentally inserted my daughter's Lexus ES 300 into the ignition. My RX330 ignition is now totally locked up. Key will not turn in any direction and display is blank. Is there a way to fix this without towing to dealer. First time this happened we towed it in and I asked the tech how he fixed it. He told me that he disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, then held the key fob to the ignition for 5 min. I tried this and it did not work. Any advice?
