Hello Everyone,
How often should I polish my wheels or should I at all? Also, what can I do to keep them looking like new without getting any blemishes in them?
Thanks!

I have never polished my wheels, but I have used wheel cleaner to clean them off each time I wash the car. Just be sure to read the back of the product before you apply it to the rims. Otherwise you may destroy them :)

Polishing them once a year wouldn't hurt, it'll protect the coating on them. I would recommend trying out a few differnt products that suit you best.
It depends upon the conditions of the area where you drive your car. If the roads are well prepared then you don't need to polish your car rims after a short period if the road is dusty you should wash your car and polish the rim after few days.

Polish the rims every few days? That could be a lot of work :p But it does depend the conditions that you are driving in.

I polish mine about twice a year. Once in the spring and another around Sept or October before the weather starts to get bad so that I'll be protected better.

I have never polished mine and they still look pretty decent... I just never have enough time.

Thanks everyone for replying to this thread. I think I'll polish my wheels every 2-3 months, maybe more if needed.

I know that their are lots of views and opinions in this thread, but I have been in the auto business now for about 20+ years. I'm not saying how often you should polish, but I polish my stuff twice a year.

I agree with Julie... it should be snug... as snug as you can get it with your knee in the seat without hurting your vehicle seats... but you dont have to keep pulling and pulling once you get it tight...
but getting it a little tighter than it HAS to be is not a problem.
btw soundtaxi (soundtaxi.org) has Christmas promotion open yet. That is a must have deal for tons of multimedia features available in their software pack
