One of my friend has LS430 and both of us still confused to listen the announcement about Lexus Link is On. What is this type of announcement? I think this might be a common thing but we are confused.

Man I used to have an LS430 and I got so tired of hearing that stupid message every day. The early LS430's (01-03) would tell you every single time you started the car that "LEXUS LINK IS INACTIVE". I never figured out a way to turn it off in my '02. The irony?
