One of my friend has LS430 and both of us still confused to listen the announcement about Lexus Link is On. What is this type of announcement? I think this might be a common thing but we are confused.

Lexus Link is Lexus' version of OnStar. Man I used to have an LS430 and I got so tired of hearing that stupid message every day.

I've driven an 05 LS430 on many occasions and never remember hearing that notification at all...

The early LS430's (01-03) would tell you every single time you started the car that "LEXUS LINK IS INACTIVE". I never figured out a way to turn it off in my '02.

The irony? It was an analog system and now Lexus is offering to take the whole damn thing out of the car for free.
