I'm looking for used cars that are about a decade old and liked the Lexus SC400 and the BMW 3 series (namely, 328i, 328is, 318, 323is, 325i). But could not make up my mind. The 95 to 99 models look decent but I could not make up my mind on BMW or Lexus. They both seem to have strengths and weaknesses but the price ranges are comparable. What's your pick and why?

I love Lexus. Reliable, classy, and sophisticated. Beemers are nice too but too many teen-agers driving the 3 series now, unless you're getting the M3.

definitely lexus. if your looking for luxury and power, thats the way to go. BMW are good, but as we all saw on the tv ads, even the holden commodore VE beat it, as far as steering and handling goes.

It is a difficult decision but I shall go with Lexus because it is the most sophisticated car on this planet. I have posted pictures of both to make a quick decision. One more benefit of Lexus is that it is less expensive in maintaining and other issues.

I shall prefer Lexus Sc400 for comfort and reliability...

I dont know what ur price range is, but, i would go with either a second gen m3 or an sc.
